About Mohamed Dosou

I am a writer, former banker, and digital creator. I spent over a decade working inside Egypt's financial sector - in retail banking, collections, and corporate environments - before choosing to leave and rebuild my life on different terms.

I now write about the things I know from the inside: how institutions shape the people who work within them, how burnout develops in environments designed to ignore it, and how people reconstruct meaningful lives after they choose to exit those environments.

I also write about power, history, modern society, and the long, slow work of building something real - which I am attempting in parallel through a future farm project in Egypt and a growing body of published writing in both Arabic and English.

I am Egyptian. I am based between Canada and Egypt. I am a father of five. I am a Muslim who takes his faith seriously and quietly. I am someone who made costly mistakes and is not ashamed to say so, because the account of what happened and what came after is the most useful thing I have to offer.
