William Nylander's Hat Trick Propels Maple Leafs to Victory over Flames

 The Toronto Maple Leafs and the Calgary Flames faced off on February 4, 2025, at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary. The Maple Leafs secured a 6-3 victory, propelled by William Nylander's second career hat trick. The Maple Leafs took control with a four-goal second period. Nylander's second goal and Knies' tally in the third period extended Toronto's lead. Although Farabee responded quickly for Calgary, Nylander's empty-net goal sealed the win. Both teams initially exchanged leads, with Coronato and Sharangovich scoring power-play goals for the Flames. Nylander’s first power-play goal and John Tavares' backhand shot gave Toronto a lead they wouldn't relinquish.
