Recent Aircraft Collision at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport: A Detailed Examination

On February 5, 2025, a significant aviation incident occurred at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac), involving a collision between a Japan Airlines aircraft and a Delta Air Lines jet. Incident Overview At approximately 10:17 AM local time, a Japan Airlines flight was taxiing between the S Concourse and the south airport maintenance hangars when its wing struck the tail of a parked Delta Air Lines aircraft.
