Recent surveys have unveiled a troubling combination of ignorance and xenophobia, highlighting the urgent need for cultural education and awareness.​ The Agrabah Anomaly: Fiction Mistaken for Reality A joint poll by Arab News and YouGov revealed that over 80% of Americans cannot identify the Arab world on a map.
