From Hitler to Netanyahu: How Western Hypocrisy Fuels Endless War in the Middle East
When history is written by the victors, injustice is often repackaged as self-defense. Today, as the world watches Israel’s escalating aggression in the Middle East-with Western powers applauding or remaining silent-we are witnessing not isolated wars, but the continuation of a century-old colonial project born out of European fascism, guilt, and imperial ambition.
Let’s be blunt: the same Western powers who cry “international law” when Russia invades Ukraine have no such energy when Israel bombs Gaza, Damascus, Baghdad, or now, Tehran. Why the double standard? Because Israel is doing the dirty work for them.
A Legacy of Manufactured War
When George W. Bush invaded Iraq under the false pretense of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs), he had the full backing of the West-and the quiet blessing of Israel. That lie cost over a million Iraqi lives, destabilized the region for decades, and set a precedent: lie about nukes, wage war, and call it peacekeeping.
Now, that same script is being replayed by Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu. Except this time, the target is Iran-and the justification is even thinner. No WMDs have been found. No nukes exist. But the threat of Iran is useful for maintaining regional chaos, controlling oil, and continuing arms sales.
The Occupation That Never Ended
Since its violent creation in 1948, the Israeli regime has attacked nearly every Arab country around it-Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and now Iran. Backed by Western governments-especially the United States, the UK, and Germany-Israel has expanded its influence not for defense, but for dominance.
They bomb hospitals, level schools, target scientists, and assassinate leaders. In Gaza alone, more than 70,000 people have died in the last 19 months-children, elders, civilians. The excuse? “Hamas is hiding.” The reality? Ethnic cleansing.
And yet, when a single misfired rocket hits an Israeli town, suddenly the world is told to pray for the “chosen people.” A nuclear-armed apartheid regime cries victim-while murdering civilians in food lines.
Germany: From Fascism to Proxy War
Perhaps the most bitter irony is Germany’s role. After birthing Nazism and committing the Holocaust, Germany now funds the very system that ethnically cleanses Palestinians under the guise of moral restitution. Chancellor Scholz even stated that Israel is doing the "dirty work" in the region-meaning war, bloodshed, and regime change-so Europe doesn’t have to.
But who gave Israel the right to decide the fate of Iran or any Arab nation?
Let us not forget: Israel has had nuclear weapons since the 1950s. No international watchdog intervened. No sanctions. But when Iraq tried, Saddam was hanged. When Libya tried, Gaddafi was lynched. Now Iran is under fire-for simply having the potential to develop nuclear power.
Trump: The Colonial Middleman
Trump’s visit to the Middle East wasn’t diplomacy-it was a shakedown. Billions were extracted from Arab Gulf states, funneled into arms deals, and eventually used to fund Netanyahu’s genocidal ambitions. The Arab world is being destroyed using its own wealth. As one observer put it, "they’re killing us with our own money."
And those who resist-leaders, scientists, voices of truth-are silenced. Assassinated. Or overwhelmed with incentives to defect.
What Happens If Iran Falls?
If Israel succeeds in eliminating Iran’s leadership, don’t expect peace. Expect more war. With Iran out of the way, every Arab neighbor becomes a target again-Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, even Jordan and Egypt. There is no limit to colonial appetite. Every inch taken will lead to the next demand.
The goal isn’t security. The goal is supremacy.
A Global Warning
The silence-or worse, complicity-of Western governments is not just hypocrisy. It is a global threat. Left unchecked, this path leads not just to regional destruction but potentially to a third world war. A nuclear confrontation between East and West becomes more likely with each “preemptive” strike and “defensive” massacre.
It’s time the world stops pretending this is a two-sided conflict. It’s time to stop calling occupation “defense” and ethnic cleansing “retaliation.”
The people of the Arab world, Muslim communities, and every oppressed population deserve more than hashtags and speeches. They deserve justice, protection, and their homeland back.
History will not forget who stood by and who stood up. In an age of deceit, silence is complicity-and complicity is a crime.
